Vladimir
McTavish has deservedly gained a reputation as a consistently
inventive and entertaining performer on the stand-up circuit
on both sides of the border. Immensely popular with audiences
in Scotland, he has also entertained audiences in Ireland,
the U.S.A, Holland, Cyprus, Norway, Singapore, Kuwait and
Dubai.
Vladimir made his twelfth visit to the Edinburgh Fringe
last summer, where he headlined at the sell-out Best
of Scottish comedy, as well as creating a critical
and box-office success in his own solo show ‘The
Top 50 Greatest Scots Of All Time Ever’. As
well as Edinburgh, Vladimir has appeared at numerous UK
festivals including The Magners Glasgow International Comedy
Festival, The Newcastle Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy
Festival, Glastonbury and T in the Park. In 2008 Vladimir
was the only UK act to appear at the Aspen Comedy Festival
in Colorado. He has also made two national solo tours of
the UK.
Vladimir was a regular perfomer on BBC
Scotland’s BAFTA nominated comedy series Live
Floor Show. He previously starred in the Channel
5 show Club Class has appeared frequently on the
Paramount Channel and was a guest on the ITV
comedy football quiz show We’re
On Our Way to Wembley. He also featured in the BBC
stand up programme The Empire
Laughs Back. His other television appearances include
